1. Telefonica Chile Building (Santiago, Chile)

This building was designed by Seismic A&E architect firm. There is no explicit explanation about this building at the website but people can see that this building should be the office of mobile telecommunication company named Telefonica Chile. Telefonica Chile was known as Movistar since 2009. The tower has 143 meters of height. The design was based on the mobile phone appearance in the mid 1990s.

2. Omniyat Properties iPad Building (Dubai, Uni Emirat Arab)

People might be fooled easily when reading the iPad name because it is the concept of the building with 23 stories from Omniyat Properties. It was built in 2007 with the design inspiration from Apple’s iPod MP3 player that is placed on the docking station. Maybe people will not see the resemblance of this building to the iPod upon the first sight but it will look similar when people remind that the building leans back at six degrees angle.

3. Bic Camera Building (Tokyo-Japan)

This building can be found in Ikebukuro district of Tokyo. It is used as one of the 40 Bic Camera stores which can be found in Japan. However, compared to other stores, this is the only building which has cellphone design. The façade of the building is functional because the number buttons are suitable to the floors of the building. At the same time, it can also represent the products which are sold in the store although it is not specialized in mobile phone only.

4. The Walkie-Talkie (London, United Kingdom)

This is the building with 37 stories located at 20 Fenchurch Street in London, United Kingdom. It is called Walkie Talkie building because it has similarity with two ways radio handset. The designer of the building is Rafael Vinoly Architects. It comes with wide curved glass expanses. It can be dangerous for people as well as possessions due to the focus sunlight during specific daytime condition.

5. Archpartners Concept Tower

This building concept has intention for grabbing interest in the investors with the expectation for increasing the wave growth of the spending for infrastructure related to the telecommunication. People can see the palm trees with coastal setting and it can be a clue about where is this building located.

6. SK Telecom Headquarters (Seoul, South Korea)

This building was designed for the telecom company. That is why people can see that its look has similarity to the mobile phone. This building will be a great office for SK Telecom. 7. Jasmine International Tower (Bangkok, Thailand)

The building has 31 stories and located on Chaengwatana Road in Bangkok. The basic design of the building is as the intelligent office tower which is attractive to the nations in Southeast Asia with developing telecommunication industry. There are some features which can be found on the building such as data center, in-house wireless internet, as well as the sleek appearance which is similar to the latest smart phone product.

8. Crazy John’s Phone Tower (Victoria, Australia)

It must be great to work in the office tower which has mobile phone shape. However, it will be different thing since the building is the concept from Crazy John Ilhan. He is a rich Australian who run telecommunication industry and got the wealth from this business. It can be seen easily in the Southbank district of Melbourne since it has 120 meters height.

9. Cell Phone Building (Kunming, China)

This building can be found on Huancheng Road of Kunming located at the southwestern of China. However, people can see that the building is not noticeable because it is located in the commercial complex. It seems like the building is not dedicated for selling the mobile phones although it indeed does.
